Getting into gear(s)

Running on an electrical motor has the big advantage that you really need only one gear. The motor can bring full torque from zero speed. But as we are working with a syncro, we want some more! We will keep gears 1 and 2 calling them L and H. L for going steeply uphill and H for running on regular roads with a top speed of 135km/h!

Below you can find some impressions of the opened gearbox. Taking out the higher gears and the reverse gear will bring us better performance, especially when we are running this baby with 11’000rpm!
